What is important to you as you work with Rowe & Deming clients?
I believe Rowe & Deming, LLC is the premier professional services firm in the Columbia Gorge/Mid Columbia region. It is important that we have the best team of people to serve our client's business management, tax and personal wealth development needs, and that every member of our team recognizes and respects the human dignity of every individual and strives to understand each person's unique situation, objectives and needs. Then, as a team, we strive to provide our clients with the best available professional services. Relationships, expert advice and highly skilled work, that is what professional services should, and what we strive, to deliver.
What is your education and experience related to your role at Rowe & Deming?
I understand how to run a business. I had a paper route from fourth grade through freshman in college. In college, I formed my first corporation and employed fellow students providing specialized lawn and yard care. My education includes bachelors and masters degrees in business administration, with emphasis in finance, and professional education in business process improvement, internal controls, forensic accounting and work team facilitation. When I was not self employed, my employers included major corporations in construction, manufacturing and high-tech industries. As a CPA, I was a business consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, the largest international professional services firm. I have over 10 years experience in providing business and personal tax and wealth management services. With a total of over 30 years experience, I have practical knowledge of what works and what doesn't.
What do you enjoy doing when not working?
Golf and gardening. I also enjoy cooking, especially for special occasions. I come from a family of very good cooks, and I carry on the tradition, relying on several family (award winning) recipes. I carry my golf clubs with me at all times, just in case of a golf emergency. I you need to play, call me.
